CHARLESTON, WV – Gov. Jim Justice announced on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 that he has approved up to 50 West Virginia National Guard (WVNG) Soldiers and Airmen to deploy to Texas for up to 30 days to support Operation Lone Star (OLS) as a part of an Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) from Texas.
