Addiction Recovery Care announces leadership change as ARC Healthcare President and Chief Administration Officer Matt Brown decides to pursue new opportunities / Vinson named CNO, COO

LOUISA, KY — (Jan. 24, 2025) — After over a decade of dedicated service, Matt Brown, Chief Administration Officer of Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) and President of ARC Healthcare, has announced his decision to step down from his role to pursue the next chapter of his career and professional journey.

This decision marks the end of a transformative and impactful tenure at ARC, where Brown’s leadership has played an instrumental role in the growth and success of the organization.

Brown’s last day at ARC will be Friday, Feb. 28, and he is committed to ensuring a smooth transition. During the next two weeks, ARC’s leadership team, including newly appointed Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer Lawrence Vinson, will finalize transition plans to ensure continued service to clients and support for the ARC community. Vinson has more than 22 years of experience in health care, both as a registered nurse and as a Chief Quality and Compliance Officer.

"ARC has been an integral part of my life and my journey," Brown said. "This ministry helped connect me to God, restored my family, and gave me a life I never imagined. It’s with a heart full of gratitude and hope for the future that I step into this new chapter of my professional and personal journey. I will always be grateful to ARC and am carrying over 10 years of recovery and purpose with me to my next chapter in life. That includes continuing to refer people to ARC for treatment because it changed my life."

Throughout his tenure at ARC, Brown was pivotal in leading the charge for recovery initiatives, expanding ARC’s reach, and providing life-changing opportunities for tens of thousands of individuals seeking recovery and a renewed sense of purpose. His leadership was critical in shaping the organization’s mission, growth, and establishing a culture of hope and healing - and his 25 years of healthcare and leadership experience give him a plethora of opportunities for the future.

Tim Robinson, CEO of ARC, expressed his heartfelt support for Brown’s decision: “Matt’s leadership has had a profound impact on ARC, and I do not doubt that the next phase of his journey will be just as impactful. I’m optimistic about ARC’s future and the incredible teams we have in place. Matt’s legacy of dedication, faith, and service will continue to inspire all of us. Our prayers and best wishes are with him as he follows God’s call into this next season of his life, and I look forward to the possibility of future community partnerships with him as he explores his next endeavor.”

ARC remains focused on its mission to serve individuals on their recovery journeys and continue creating life-changing opportunities for those in need.

“ARC’s best days are ahead of it,” said Robinson. “With the strength of our team and our shared vision, I am excited to see what God has in store for all of us.”
