SCOTTSVILLE, KY (April, 08 2024) – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on January 17, 2024, Robert Tomes, age 35, assaulted Levi Parrish, age 40, both inmates at the Allen County Detention Center.
Parrish was transported by EMS to the Bowling Green Medical Center.
On January 26, 2024, Parrish passed away at the Bowling Green Medical Center.
On March 27, 2024, this investigation was presented to a grand jury in Allen County.
The grand jury returned an indictment against Robert Tomes for:
- One count of Murder
- One count of Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree.
